Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation has risen 4.8 percent year on year in June 2017 down from 6.5 percent in May 2017.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation has risen 6.5 percent year on year in May 2017 down from 7.3 percent in April 2017.

In May 2017, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’, ‘Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels’ and Transport rose by 14.3 percent, 1.8 percent and 5.4 percent respectively.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation has risen7.7 percent year on year in March 2017 down from 8.1 percent in February 2017.

In March 2017, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’,‘Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels’ and Transport rose by 16 percent, 2.5 percent and 8.9 percent respectively.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation grew 7.4 percent year on year in January 2017up from 7.3 percent in December 2016.

In January2017, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’, ‘Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels’ and Transport rose by 16.2 percent, 1.5 percent and 8.3 percent respectively.
