Rwanda's CPI is 1.1 pct year on year in March 2019

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 1.1 percent year on year in March 2019 up from 0.8 percent in February 2019.

In March 2019, ‘Housing water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 1.1 percent on annual change and was stable on monthly basis. Transport increased by 6.7 percent on annual change and 0.2 percent on monthly basis.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 0.8 percent year on year in February 2019 down from 1.0 percent in January 2019.

In February 2019, ‘Housing water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 1.2 percent on annual change and increased by 0.1 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 8.2 percent on annual change and was stable on monthly basis.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 1.0 percent year on year in January 2019 down from 1.1 percent in December 2018.

In January 2019, ‘Housing water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 2.6 percent on annual change and increased by 0.3 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 8.2 percent on annual change and decreased by 1.1 percent on monthly change.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 1.1 percent year on year in December 2018 up from 0.1 percent in November 2018.

In December 2018, ‘Housing water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 2.5 percent on annual change and decreased by 0.1 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 9.5 percent on annual change and 0.1 percent on monthly change.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 0.1 percent year on year in November 2018 up from -0.6 percent in October 2018.

In November 2018, ‘Housing water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 3.0 percent on annual change and decreased by 1.2 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 9.7 percent on annual change and 0.9 percent on monthly change.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation decreased by 0.6 percent year on year in October 2018 down from 1.2 percent in September 2018.

In October 2018, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased by 9.7 percent on annual change and 2.5 percent on monthly basis.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation has risen 1.2 percent year on year in September 2018 down from 2.1 percent in August 2018.

In September 2018, ‘Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels’ and Transport rose by 4.0 percent and 10.3 percent respectively.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation has risen 2.9 percent year on year in June 2018 down from 3.0 percent in May 2018.

In June 2018, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’, ‘Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels’ and Transport rose by 1.7 percent, 4.0 percent, and 8.8 percent respectively.
